The Duck Commander Crew In Alaska
Two of America’s finest people, Sarah Palin and Phil Robertson, sit down and discuss religion and our founding at a BBQ in Sarah’s back yard. It doesn’t get any more patriotic than that!

“We need Moose cooking women in the White House” ~ Phil Robertson

Great to have the Duck Commander crew in Alaska! The Robertson family joined us this past weekend to honor wounded warriors flown up for a healing retreat at Franklin Graham’s camp in the wilderness; and we chowed down together on scrumptious moose BBQ in our back yard. It was a spectacular day with down-home friends and family! The patriarch Duck Commander and I had a great chat – unPHILtered by the media! (You know I love that!) Check out the video here and get Phil’s new book “UnPHILtered” that was just released. If you respect freedom-loving, patriotic, hard working ethos, then you’ll love this encouraging book! Enjoy.

Duck Dynasty

“Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson has been fired by A&E following his recent comments on homosexuality.

The network’s remarks:

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty,” the network said in a statement.

Phil Robertson’s response:

I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior. My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.

It’s weird that A&E recently told Phil and his family not to pray “to Jesus” anymore because it would offend Muslims. If he said he was in favor of homosexuality, wouldn’t THAT offend Muslims?

From The Hollywood Reporter:

A&E has placed Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson on indefinite hiatus following remarks he made in a recent profile in GQ.

“It seems like, to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man’s anus,” Robertson says in the January issue of the men’s magazine. “That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

During a discussion about repentance and God, Robertson is asked what he finds sinful.

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,” he says. “Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”

He goes on to paraphrase Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

GLAAD on Wednesday condemned his remarks as “some of the vilest and most extreme statements uttered against LGBT people in a mainstream publication” and said “his quote was littered with outdated stereotypes and blatant misinformation.”

“Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil’s lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe,” GLAAD spokesperson Wilson Cruz said.

The Robertsons

The Robertsons- Duck Dynasty

This is an amazing production from I am Second. If you have a good monitor, watch it in High Definition in full screen mode.

From The Right Scoop:

I just spent the last 30 minutes watching this and I must say it’s quite moving. You might even need a few tissues to get you through a few of the more touching moments as Phil and Kay describe Phil’s walk from the darkness into the light. Not only that, but Jep Robertson also gets real about the worst time in his life when his family finally had to give him an ultimatum to turn him around. And lastly there is Reed Robertson, Jase’s son, who reveals the he almost committed suicide after the show started and explains what happened.

Fans of the Robertsons are now being offered an unprecedented look at their lives before they hit the big-time in an upcoming 30-minute Christian motivational film by I Am Second. In the movie, the Robertsons divulge details about their past demons, opening up about the drinking and infidelity that almost tore them all apart.

“The Robertson’s wanted to share the deeper story beyond their name. We love them on television, but there is so much more to them than that,” filmmaker Scott Mayo told FOX411. “They have this incredible story about their life and faith, and wanted to tell this story to inspire others… Just because they are on TV doesn’t make them perfect.”

After interviewing three generations of the very famous family – Phil, Miss Kay, son Jep and grandson Reed– Mayo said he was surprised at how open and candid the stars were in vocalizing their difficult history.

“Phil lives with a lot of conviction and shared a lot of dark struggles from his past. He did it in a way that was bold and raw,” continued the filmmaker, adding that simply being in the presence of Phil through the production was a profound experience in and of itself. “If there was any silence in the room, he would just start pontificating and laying down some shotgun wisdom.”

In a dimly lit room, Phil begins by opening up about how he initially pushed those trying to introduce him to Jesus away.

Phil Robertson, revealed in an interview that much of what happens during taping of Duck Dynasty gets distorted by editors “with no moral compass.”

“They inserted fake beeps like somebody had used profanity,” Robertson said. “But no one had used profanity.”

After much back and forth, the editors finally quit inserting the fake bleeps. But then they deleted the words, “In Jesus’ name,” during the family’s prayer scene at the end of the show.

After raising the issue, Robertson said, “I noticed now, every once in a while, they’re leaving it in there.”

Popular A&E reality show “Duck Dynasty” continues to smash competition in the ratings on Wednesday nights, but one star has spoken out about how the show is portrayed.

In an interview with Sports Spectrum TV earlier this year that’s only recently gone viral, Phil Robertson admitted that fake bleeps were inserted into the show even though there was no cursing happening.

“The inserted fake bleeps … like somebody had used profanity, but no one had used profanity,” Robertson said. “I ask those guys that produce the show … ‘What’s the point of the fake bleeps?’”

Robertson admitted that there are up to 20 editors who are “arranging the scenes” on the show so they might think that’s where cursing likely happened.

“Of course these people probably thought that there was some profanity going on which there was zero,” Robertson stated. “If we’re not using profanity, why make it look like we’re using profanity? What is the point? Why don’t you just run it and say what we say?”

Robertson also said that the name Jesus has been cut out during the family’s prayer scene at the end of the show.

“So they would just have me saying, ‘Thank you Lord for the food, thank you for loving us. Amen.’ So I said, ‘Why would you cut out ‘In Jesus’ name?’ They said, ‘Well those editors are probably doing that. They just think that they don’t want to offend some of the Muslims or something.’”

Robertson said that since that conversation the show has been leaving “Jesus” in the show.

“So I notice now they are … leaving it in there, but you got to remember, spiritual warfare,” Robertson said. “I mean you have people with no moral compass, it ain’t there.”

“Duck Dynasty” has been a smash hit for A&E, garnering 11.8 million viewers for the Season Four premiere.

The Robertsons’ Duck Commander business is located in West Monroe, La.

In case you haven’t seen this yet, here is video featuring Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson preaching to an audience in Pennsylvania about God, the Bible, and the Founding Fathers.

Amen, Phil. Amen.

“Listen, from the time you started inside your mother’s womb, Thomas Jefferson had it right, you have the God-given right to life for crying out loud. You’re this long (pointing to his finger). You’re a week old inside your mother. They suck you out of there when you’re about like that (point to finger again). You wouldn’t be here tonight!

“And, when you got to be the size of my thumb, they suck you out. You wouldn’t be here. Then, you grow a little bigger, like my fist – and finally eight, nine months later you come out.

“And we debate whether it’s a – some woman’s right to tear you out of there a piece at a time! C’mon! You have a God-given right to live. And of all places, inside your mother – what in the world happened to us?”
