Fake News Benghazi Video Blame - More Fake News: Blaming Benghazi On A Video

Remember when Hillary sold the false video narrative hard in the weeks after the Benghazi attack? At a small ceremony upon the return of the caskets to Andrews Air Force base, Hillary even shook the hand of Charles Wood, father of Benghazi hero Ty Woods, and said, “We are going to have the filmmaker arrested.”

In this rare instance, Hillary was as good as her word. She and Obama set out to identify and punish the maker of that video, and they did so with a speed and severity that the attackers themselves were spared. Scarier still, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the Coptic Christian whose short video “The Innocence of Muslims” was initially blamed for sparking the Sept. 11, 2012 terror attack is now living in a homeless shelter run by First Southern Baptist Church in Buena Park, Calif. He has served time in prison, been shamed publicly by the White House and threatened with death.

Scary isn’t it that Hillary and Obama sent a man to jail to cover up a lie and the Mainstream media cheered them on!

In this week’s fact-checking video, CNN’s Jake Tapper takes a look at key public and private statements made by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the day of the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks in Benghazi and the days immediately following. The attacks on the U.S. diplomatic facility and CIA annex resulted in the deaths of four Americans.

As we have written, the Obama administration was quick to blame an online anti-Muslim video, which did trigger protests in Egypt and elsewhere, and slow to acknowledge that the heavily armed assault in Benghazi was a terrorist attack. “Hillary Clinton contributed to that false impression even though the State Department and Hillary Clinton seemed to know from the beginning that this was a terrorist attack,” Tapper says.
